Joanna’s full-length play SH@MED will premiere September 15-18 on the mainstage at Georgia Southwestern University (GSW) in Americus, GA.
A biting multi-media satire, SH@MED centers around Tabatha Meier, a writer and PR rep whose personal and professional life is thrown into upheaval after an unfortunate social media post.
Joanna developed SH@MED in 2015 after a partnership with GSW. The play deals with the themes of religious identity, online shaming, and the perils of both social and mass media at a time of rapidly evolving digital language.
Sh@med is written by Joanna Castle Miller and directed by Joseph Watson. Tickets will be available later this summer.
