Joanna’s play around and around and around the static sun will be presented at Shotgun Readings, a series of staged readings of new works, as part of Sitting Shotgun‘s Fall 2018 season.
The inaugural Fall Shotgun Readings will showcase full-length works and will take place over three weekends in September, with two new works performing each weekend.
In around and around and around the static sun, Kimberly creates a fake man to save her business and, for better or worse, sparks a movement like the world has never seen. It’s a full-length dark satire that explores gender, historical memory, and the way people use the power of time to keep oppressive hierarchies in place.
